In 2015, The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) a Bethlehem, PA non-profit group that links college career placement offices with employers, surveyed hiring managers (read article) regarding what skills they plan to prioritize when they recruit at colleges and graduate schools. One of the top skills mentioned was the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.

While many high schools focus on the dissemination of knowlege and teach only information necessary to successfully complete standardized tests and meet district objectives, innovative educators are beginning to see the need for hands-on tools to help their students become more business-minded and learn to solve real business problems.

In our quest to help students become more organized and begin thinking of problems and goals as a set of activities to be completed, Statdash has begun working with educators to publish and distribute course content in the form of dashboards, where students can regularly record the status of their progress. By helping them to see their overall progress and holding them accountable for regularly recording their status, students will not only be more organized in their studies, but will be positioned for success as they take these skills with them into the business world.
